HOW TO GET PUMPED UP FOR A GAME
http://www.wikihow.com/Get-Pumped-up-Right-Before-a-Game
Before any game, do you ever feel unmotivated? Perhaps tired and just all around...blah? There are things you can do to change that immediately. Just follow these steps...
Steps
-

1
Breathe slowly. Breathing deep and slow will help you relax your muscles and more efficiently spread important nutrients like oxygen. A small but important factor that many people don't think about. It's actually pretty easy-just breathe in through your nose and out through your mouth.
-

2
Eat something. Eat something somewhat small, but high in energizing nutrients, with plenty of protein, some carbohydrates, and some calories. My favorite is honey, because it enters the blood stream quick and gives you that solid, less anti-groggy feeling. Other things you can eat are almonds and nuts, a small serving of eggs, oatmeal, a banana, or just an energy bar.
-

3
Hydrate yourself. The worst mistake people make before a game is not being hydrated. It slows everything down, which is a no-brainier in the case why you feel unmotivated. All chemical reactions happen in the presence of water. Do NOT drink too much water right before a game, or else you will get cramps.
-

4
Listen to some good music. Get out your iPod and listen to something that either inspires you, or what’s better is rock or rap.
-

5
Think about it as a championship game. You psychologically try harder and feel the need that what you are about to do is important.
-

6
Get angry before your game, get a little pissed off. You get more motivation to beat the other team if your angry at them. And you'll try harder. And even if you are trying out for a team, you will want to make the best team.
-

7
Get your team pumped up too The more motivated your team is, the more motivated the crowd is, the more motivated you will be. When your team gets to yelling and chanting and getting a little rowdy, it throws the other team off.
-

8
Get in the "I can do anything" mindset. When you believe in yourself it rubs off on everyone around you. When the team as a whole believes they can win, nothing can stop them.
